Three Arrested in Silver Swan Theft PDF Print E-mail

On February 7, 2010, at 10:44 p.m., the clerk of the Silver Swan Marathon fuel station, located at 3880 E. National Road, called the Clark County Sheriff’s Office to report a theft.  Deputies were in the area and responded immediately to the scene, but were unable to locate the fleeing suspects.  The clerk advised deputies that several subjects entered the convenience store and requested items from the delicatessen.  While the clerk was assisting at the deli counter, a female went behind the checkout counter and removed a quantity of cigarette cartons.  The suspects then fled the store in an unknown direction.  Deputies filed a report on the incident and obtained evidence for further investigation.

At 4:01 a.m., the clerk called the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center and reported that the three suspects from the earlier theft incident had returned and were inside the convenience store.  Patrol Deputies and a Supervisor immediately responded to the Marathon station and apprehended the three suspects, who were identified at Lindsey R. Adams, 23, Christopher A. Dean, 25, and Michael S. Adams, 28.  Ms. Adams was charged with Felony Theft, and both Mr. Dean and Mr. Adams were charged with Complicity to Felony Theft.  Ms. Adams also has pending charges for a prior theft offense, filed by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Bureau. 

Sheriff’s deputies discovered that the individual representing himself as Michael S. Adams was in fact Shawn Quincy Adams.  Shawn Quincy Adams had several outstanding Indictments/Warrants for Breaking and Entering.  In addition to the original charges of Complicity to Felony theft,

Shawn Quincy Adams was served with his arrest warrants and will also be charged with Falsification for his fraudulent use of Mr. Michael Adams information during the time of his arrest.  Additionally, Lindsey R. Adams was served with an arrest warrant for felony Theft stemming from an investigation into her stealing lottery tickets from the Silver Swan station on January 27, 2010.  All individuals are scheduled to be arraigned in the Clark County Municipal on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 1030 a.m. to answer to the charges against them.

All three subjects were incarcerated in the Clark County Jail and are awaiting arraignment.

These incident remain under investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, additional charges may be pending
