On February 8, 2010 at approximately 10:00 AM, Clark County Sheriff’s Detectives received information regarding a wanted subject that was reportedly staying at the Day’s Inn Motel, located at 11 W. Leffel Lane in Springfield Township.  Upon receiving the information, Detectives and Uniform Patrol Deputies responded to the area and verified that the suspect was in fact staying at the business.

Detectives and Deputies made contact and located Brian Gregory Lewis and several other individuals, who were occupying two adjoining rooms in the motel; Lewis was taken into custody without incident.  Brain G. Lewis was wanted on a Secret Indictment for four counts of Trafficking in Crack Cocaine.  Upon taking Lewis into custody, a large amount of cash and approximately one ounce of what appeared to be Crack Cocaine was discovered in the room.  Brian G. Lewis was arrested on the Secret Indictment for Trafficking in Crack Cocaine and also for an outstanding Indictment for Food Stamp Fraud.  He was placed in the Clark County Jail.

This incident remains under investigation; additional charges may be filed pending presentation to the Clark County Grand Jury.
